San Diego Update

Trip planning moves into full-force this week. Greg re-set my expectations on where to stay. He wants two rooms adjoining; next to the respective parks, preferably with a shuttle so we don’t have to deal with parking; and a family-friendly environment, preferably with a great kid-oriented pool. Lesson here: always check with your spouse before making hotel arrangements. Their expecatations may be different than yours!

Anyway, we’ve decided that there is just too much to do in San Diego. So now we are going to make multiple trips. This trip we are focusing only on Sea World and Legoland. But even with the narrowed focus, I’m having a challenge deciding what is the best fit for the ages of our kids (7, 5, 3, and 1) and the size of our family. Been looking for insider tips, particularly on which special tours at Sea World are worth the extra expense. Have any insight? Please share.
